1. Terms & Conditions

  • The cooking competition will be held on 5 September, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Park Prime, 226 A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata – 700020.
  • Participation is open to individuals aged 50 years and above. Valid age and identity proof may be required at registration or at the venue.
  • Prior registration is mandatory. Participation is subject to confirmation and availability of slots.
  • Participants must report at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late entry may not be permitted.
  • Each participant must follow the cooking format, ingredient guidelines, time limits and safety instructions communicated by the organisers.
  • Participants must disclose any food allergies or dietary restrictions during registration. The organisers and venue will take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
  • Entries will be evaluated by Chef Palak and/or an appointed judging panel. Judging may consider taste, presentation, creativity, technique and adherence to the competition guidelines.
  • The judges’ decision will be final and binding. No correspondence or appeal regarding the results will be entertained.
  • The winner will qualify as a semifinalist for “Cooking Superstar 50 Above 50”, subject to fulfilling the eligibility requirements and rules of that competition.
  • Surprise gifts and quiz prizes are subject to availability, applicable rules and the organisers’ discretion. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Hi-tea and Chef Palak’s workshop are available only to confirmed participants, unless otherwise communicated by the organisers.
  • Participants must maintain appropriate hygiene and follow all food-safety, fire-safety and venue regulations. The organisers may disqualify anyone engaging in unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate conduct.
  • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The organisers, sponsors, venue partner and associated representatives will not be liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
  • By participating, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded during the event. The organisers and event partners may use this content for promotional, editorial and social-media purposes without additional compensation.
  • Park Prime is the Venue Partner, and Suriya is the Supporting Partner. Their association does not independently create responsibility for judging decisions, participant selection or prize fulfilment unless specifically stated.
  • The organisers reserve the right to modify the schedule, format, judging panel, benefits or other event arrangements due to operational requirements or circumstances beyond their control.
  • If the event is postponed or cancelled, registered participants will be informed through the contact details provided during registration.
  • Submission of the registration form or participation in the event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
